The first stop is Taipei Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, an impressive monument in memory of President Chiang Kai-shek in Taipei city. Surrounded by white walls with blue-tiled roof, the park contains an archway, a museum, a square, and a garden.

※Taipei Longshan Temple
Next is Taipei Longshan Temple, the most well known temple in Taiwan. Founded by the immigrants from Fukien in 1738, this ancient temple was built to dedicate the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy (Kuan-in in Chinese). The most known about Taipei Longshan Temple is that the statue of Kuan-in has survived the bombing during the air raid in 1945.

※Taipei Din Tai Fung
Lunch will be served at Taipei Din Tai Fung, a famous restaurant franchise that is originally found in Taiwan, widely-known for serving Xiaolongbao(Steamed Dumplings). Taipei Din Tai Fung is also included in Michelin Bib Gourmand selection from 2018.

※Taipei 101
After lunch, you may choose to go up to Taipei 101 Observatory Deck and enjoy panoramic view of Taipei city by your own expense, or enjoy a little shopping in the department stores nearby.

※Lin An Tai Historical House at Taipei
Then, you will stop by Lin An-Tai Historical House, a traditional Chinese courtyard house with elegant decorations and is one of the few traditional houses preserved in northern Taiwan. The Lin An-Tai Historical House at Taipei is over 160 years old. It is the best-preserved and maintained ancient house in Taipei City and is famous for its delicate carvings.

※Taipei National Palace Museum
After that, you will spend time in one of the most-visited museums in the world – Taipei National Palace Museum. This museum houses nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese artworks over multiple dynasties. Beside the permanent exhibits, there are temporary exhibits from time to time. The Southern Branch of National Palace Museum in Chiayi City was established in 2015, aimed to balance cultural resources between north and south of Taiwan.

Shilin Market was built as early as in 1899 and the market is famous for various snacks and eatery.
