關於旅宿
Fujiya Hotel was opened in Miyanoshita, Hakone in 1878 as Japan's first full-fledged resort hotel.
The Western-style building built by the founder, Sennosuke Yamaguchi, has gone through numerous additions and renovations, and has become a hotel with a magnificent architectural complex that symbolizes Hakone.
The building overcame numerous hardships, including natural disasters, and in 1997, many of its buildings were designated as registered tangible cultural properties.
After more than two years of major renovations, the "new" Fujiya Hotel was born in 2020.
We offer a more comfortable and relaxing time while retaining the charm and design of the past, as well as the spirit of hospitality.
We will continue to write a new history as a pioneer of classic hotels.
