Machiya is a national designated cultural property, and it is an inn surrounded by the atmosphere of an ancient city.
Nishijin Fujita is located in Yamacho, Nishijin Prefecture. As the name suggests, it is a townhouse built on the site of the mansion of Yamana Soso, the Western army that led the war.

The east wing of the National Registered Tangible Cultural Property, composed of the east and west wings, is a traditional townhouse built in the early Meiji period.
The remains of the time have been preserved.
Accommodation is on the first floor of this east wing. The living/dining room, washbasin and bathroom have all been renovated to emphasize convenience. The living room and bedroom retain the structure and atmosphere of the townhouse, as well as the warehouse and tea room. You can spend a relaxing time while looking out at the visible courtyard.

In addition, the street garden where "Okudōyama" (the rice cooker) is located is made of Sanwa soil, and you can see tools for pre-war life and tools related to Nishijin weaving. There are also rare books about Kyoto that can be read freely.

■ Due to impact on the building, pets are not allowed in guest rooms
■ As a general rule, we do not allow anyone other than the booker to enter the room. Etiquette etc. Please respect check-in and check-out times. After 21:00, please do not make loud noises or speak loudly
■ It is forbidden to enter nearby schools and other facilities, take pictures, etc., please strictly abide by
■ If you have trash, separate it into burnable, non-burnable and recycling (cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles)
■ When cooking, please use the ventilation fan in the kitchen to prevent odors from accumulating indoors. To prevent paper jams, only use toilet paper to flush the toilet

■ When leaving the room, please turn off electrical appliances such as lights and air conditioners
