Requests to our customers
(For your safety and comfort stay)
The Ryokan (松柏園) is a quiet Japanese hotel surrounded by rivers and so on. In other words, it is relatively easy for external people to get in and out from the outside. In order to make your stay safe and comfortable, please be aware of the following:
①When going out of the hotel, be sure to carry your valuables with you.
②Pay full attention to the management of your valuables when you stay in the building either.
③Before going to bed, make sure that the windows and entrances are locked. The main feature of the hotel is it accepting only one group of guests a day, which allowing the guests to enjoy the whole building and garden freely. The staff may be absent at night, so be careful about crime prevention etc.
④No smoking in the building. In order to prevent fire, please cook only in the kitchen.
⑤When using the kitchen, do not cook dishes that use a large amount of oil such as tempura. Make sure that the gas stove has been turned off and cleaned up after use.
⑥You can take a bath at any time, but don’t do it after drinking.
⑦The garden is built by using natural rivers and terrain with high and low drop to integrate into the local nature. Please do not take a walk in the garden at night as it is dangerous. In addition, please be careful as it‘s easy to slip on snowy and rainy days. Be especially careful when you are with little baby and children.

Article 1 (name) This facility is referred to as “松柏園” (hereinafter referred to as “Our House”).
Article 2 (use of facilities) Person who have made a prescribed application can use the facilities of our House.
Article 3 (prohibition of use of facilities) We refuse use of the facilities in place corresponding to any of the following. If be found in the middle of the use, we will refuse the continuation of subsequent use.
①When group of gangster, member of violent groups, gang-related enterprises/groups or their related persons, and other anti-social forces, is admitted.
② When very rude or violent acts are admitted in the facilities of our house.
③ When we admit that the guest can not use our facilities successfully because of whose disease.
Article 4 (prohibited matter) In using the facilities of our house, the following acts are prohibited.
1) No bring into the facility
① Animals and pets (except guide dogs, nursing dogs and hearing aids dogs);
② Knives and articles that may cause fire or explosion;
③ Objects with foul odor, or sources of discomfort noises;
④ Others that we consider inappropriate to be brought into our house;
2) Prohibited acts
① Gamble, violence and act to corrupt public morals
② Sales of goods, publicity and advertising (except those approved by our house)
Article 5(safety management) When using of the facilities, your safety or health management shall be at your own risk. Because our house is built in cliffs and rivers, please pay attention to avoid falling and sliding during walking. Please don‘t take a walk at night or after drinking. When walking in the garden, be sure not to let little baby and children out of your sight.
Article 6 (exemption) Our house shall not be liable for any damages caused by theft, loss, damage or other accidents in its facilities.
Article 7 (user’s liability for compensation) When using the facilities, the customer shall compensate for the damage caused to our house by the customer‘s fault. In addition, the minor’s liability for compensation is borne by the guardian.
Article 8 (facility close)Our house will temporarily close down when facility repairs are needed or facilities cannot be safely used in bad weather.
「Request for entering guest room」
Please allow the staff to enter guest room in order to make the guest comfortable stay in this facility. When making beds or cleaning beds, conducting equipment checks, or cleaning the room, the staff will enter the guest room. Please take care of your valuables, as we may move your luggage when working.
