The Kamata area is also home to many Chinese restaurants famous for their dumplings, along with various restaurants, bars, cafes, and izakayas. There are also department stores near JR Kamata Station.

Furthermore, the Kamata area is famous for its hot springs, making it a perfect place to relax.
